Gagal Lolos Semifinal Piala AFF U19 2022, PSSI Resmi Layangkan Protes ke AFF

Sehingga jika Hasil Indonesia Vs Myanmar tuntas dengan kemenangan Timnas Indonesia meski berapa gol pun tercipta, maka yang lolos babak 4 Besar Piala AFF U19 2022 adalah Thailand dan Vietnam .

Namun, jika merujuk kepada Regulasi yang ada , Regulasi Piala AFF U19 2022 yang menggunakan head to head langsung tersebut mengacu ke aturan di gelaran AFC U19 2022, alias Piala AFC U19 .

Terutama pada poin 9.3, yang berbunyi:

9.3. The ranking in each group shall be determined in descending order as follows:

9.3.1. higher number of points obtained in all group Matches;

9.3.2. if two (2) or more Participating Teams are equal on points, the following criteria are  applied to determine the ranking (in descending order):

Head-to-Head criteria

9.3.2.1. higher number of points obtained in the group Matches played among the Participating Teams in question;

9.3.2.2. superior goal difference from the group Matches played among the Participating Teams in question;

9.3.2.3. higher number of goals scored in the group Matches played among the Participating Teams in question; Tiebreaker

9.3.2.4. if, after having applied the Head-to-Head criteria, two (2) or more Participating Teams still have an equal ranking, the Head-to-Head criteria shall be reapplied exclusively to the Matches between the Participating Teams in question to determine their final rankings. If this procedure does not lead to a decision, the Group Results criteria shall apply;

Sementara untuk regulasi AFF U19 Cup , terutama dari gelaran AFF U19 2016 lalu, aturannya berbeda.

Yakni dengan lebih mengutamakan perbedaan jumlah gol dan agresifitas di fase grup.

Baru kemudian head to head langsung di antara tim dengan jumlah poin yang sama .

Adapun bunyi regulasinya yakni 9.1.5 yang berbunyi:

(a) goal difference in all the group matches;

(b) greater number of goals scored in all the group matches;

(c) result of the direct match between the teams concerned;

(d) Kicks from the penalty mark if the teams concerned are still on the field of play.

(e) the lowest score using Fair Play Criteria

(f) the drawing of lot

Hanya saja, informasi terbaru disebutkan bahwa regulasi yang serupa Piala AFC U19 2022 itulah yang akan jadi acuan.

Sehingga dengan demikian, nasib Timnas Indonesia akan benar-benar bergantung dengan hasil duel antara Vietnam dan Thailand.
