Ramadan Petugas Dishub Metro Lampung Pantau Lampu Penerangan Setiap Malam 

Tribunlampung.co.id, Metro - The Metro Transportation Service (Dishub) has alerted officers to monitor Public Street Lights (LPJU) every night in the holy month of Ramadan.

Head of the Metro Transportation Agency, Helmy Zain, said that his party deployed three to four officers to monitor LPJU every night.

He added that Dishub officers were assigned to carry out pickets until 23.00 WIB.

"For LPJU, we make pickets every day," he said, Thursday (28/3/2024).

"There were three to four people picketing after sunset until 10-11 at night," he continued.

Later, he continued, Dishub officers on duty will go around to check LPJU location points.

"They go around, fix whatever is damaged straight away," he said.

"If you can't do it that night, the next day. Four teams are usually made to picket," he continued.

Helmy said that his party also opened a service for reporting dead LPJUs by the public to the Transportation Agency.

The public can report this report to the Metro Transportation Department if they find a damaged or dead LPJU location.

"There are via WhatsApp, Call Center, Instagram, mostly via WhatsApp complaints about lights come to us," he said.

"During Ramadan, LPJU conditions vary. There is a short circuit, the MCB is down, so we fix it," he continued.

He said that of all the LPJUs in Metro, it is certain that there are some that experience damage every day.

So he emphasized that his party was open to receiving reports from the Bumi Sai Wawai community if they found damaged or dead LPJU.

"The aim of the picket is to monitor anything that is damaged and repair it. Of the more than 4,600 lights, every day one will definitely die," he said.

"The appeal is to report to the Transportation Agency, you can go through sub-district officials, we accept it openly. We get information from the community, so we really depend on the community," he concluded.
